    Spoiled

The Christmas spoiling has begun and so far, it's been me getting all the spoiling!

It's T minus 2 days, 5 hours until Nate and I get a mini escape!  We are attending his holiday party Saturday night, a formal affair complete with overnight hotel stay.  My mom is coming in to the kids and Audrey's nurses are coming to feed her and help a little (24 hrs with my crew is tough for me, I wouldn't give that to my mom without reinforcements!)  Audrey hasn't been without one of us overnight since her NICU days so this is kinda a big deal for me but I'm sure she will be completely fine.

Last weeekend was my 24 hr birthday pass at the Gaylord Texan.  We took the kids to the Microsoft Kid's Holiday party together and then I was on my way to do whatever I wanted for 24 hours!  I shopped for something fun to wear this weekend, got a manicure, checked out the colossal hotel, ordered room service and was asleep by 10:30.  I woke up around 3am completely disoriented but finally fell back asleep and slept until 8:55, BLISS!

My final spoil, I was reminded just how spoiled we've become this year compared to last when Audrey got sick this week.  She's on the mend today (so I'm not worried aobut this weekend).  She started wheezing Monday and by Tuesday was throwing up.  My stomach was in knots all night Tuesday as she wasn't even keeping sips of water down and her vomit was bilious (sign of bowel obstruction) but she finally stopped around 1am and after one final puke Wed am, she is almost back to full feeds this morning.  Her wheezing is all gone too.  Three days was cake compared to the weeks things would drag on last year.  She's such a superstar!

Nate leaves today through tomorrow night so I may not be feeling quite so spoiled later!  I'm sure the kiddos will be angels and I won't even be looking forward to SaturdayWink

Oh yeah, Skinny Cow news---Nate got 2nd!  I was beat out for third by four tenths of a percentage point.  I guess I'm happy for Amanda though Tongue out  She really worked her butt off (literally).  We saw eachother often at the gym and we're going to keep eachother going--she has big plans about some class next week--we'll see if I make it!  Nate didn't make his goal by 1 pound but is already down 2 more this week, so I'm thinking we'll make the committment here to better health.  Christmas cookies are tough for me though, especially Peggy's (Stacy's mom), mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I can't write anymore now as I'm just thinking about those cookies!  Talk soon!
