June 29 So, I jinxed itOff the tube by August??!! I'm such an ass. She lost a pound. I was pretty cool cat about it as was her doctor ,but daddy flipped out. He's right too, a pound on such a puny frame is kinda a lot. Since we've been home from FL we started to notice how scrawny she looked, how every rib is visible without her breathing in. I decided to add a weight check for her to Jason's four year well check. Sure enough, she weighs 23 lbs 4 oz. Dipping back into the barely 10th percentile but totally still on the charts! She's eating too, I will upload a video tomorrow to prove it, I guess it's still just not enough. I swear her respiration rate is lowering too so I just don't know what the deal is. I do know though that when she has good nutrition she stays healthy so we're increasing her feeds for a week and then reevaluating. I'm changing my target date to Christmas.
We had another big weekend here. Last weekend found us in San Antonio for Nate's dad's wedding. I have lots of cute pictures from that to share, but since I haven't even gotten the Destin pics out there, don't hold your breath! This week was full with Jason's birthday and Aunt Vicki coming to visit. We finished with Jason's birthday party, Allison's birthday party, and a fish fry at Crowes. More pictures I'll probably never get out! I have to share these though...
yep, my hip and cute boys are now shorn. The chlorine has done a job on their hair and the combing nightmare every morning was getting out of hand (Ethan started literally running from me every time he saw me with the comb and detangling spray!). I gave them the choice of either "manning up" for combing or getting it cut; to my utter dismay, you can see their choice. I will admit though, the look works for them, they are pretty handsome! June 24 Happy Birthday Jason!June 15 Happy Birthday and Father's Day Nathan! We're home! We made the drive back in record time and only wanted to give the kids away at one stop. Oh, I kid, a little. The trip was super dooper great, lots o fun and relaxation. I finished a 661 page book (highly recommend The Other Boleyn Girl), the boys learned how to boogie board (sort of), Audrey overcame her fear of sand (sort of), and Nate went fishing 3 times. Lots of margaritas were imbibed as well as delicious sea food consumed. Good, good times. I just put my 2 favorite pics up for now; I'll share more later (we took A LOT). Today marks Nathan's 35th as well as Father's Day. Happy Birthday Honey! I'm so proud of the man you are. Happy Father's Day to the Papas too. We're excited to see you next weekend! June 05 Don't have a good excuseFor not blogging, just tired and busy. We're leaving tomorrow for vacation and I promise to be a better blogger when we return, really, I promise. Alright, we'll see.
All is well; Audrey lost that 2 oz so is back to her May 1rst weight but since she hasn't lost for the month, we're pushing on. I still see us tube free by August. The boys finished school this week, Jase on Monday and E today. Ethan was given an award today for excellent citizenship, LOVE that he values doing the right thing and having compassion for his classmates. SO proud!
I'll have a margarita on the beach for each of you! Have a fabulous week!!
