Dear Audrey-

 

Where do I even begin?  You were born 3 days before our daughter, Parker and have been such a joy and blessing to watch grow over the last year.  We have followed your story and journey since I met your mom in April of 2005.  We continue to be in awe of your courage and strength.   Your will to fight gives us inspiration.  Your eyes are like looking through Parker's.   And your smile brings our hearts solace. 

 

You are an amazing little girl.  Amazing beyond words.  We are so honored to know you and to share in both your struggles and bliss.   May your life continued to be filled with love and may all your dreams come true. 

 

Wear those scars proudly and know that there are many angels cheering you on.  We love you dearly little one!

 

And Jenn, she is the person she is because of you.  She shares your grace, love, strength and courage.   We are honored to call you a friend.

 I just wanted to stop and say what an amazing mom you are, and how gorgeous Audrey is!  I have been following (lurking) your blog since just before Audrey was born.  I have very good friends who have a little girl with CDH, born just days before Audrey.  It has been a rough year+ for your family, but she is a very strong little girl, and she looks great!
